I left home at 4:15 AM, after roughly 3 hours packing and getting everything ready, including the template for this page. I hadn't slept at all, but I didn't care, as I'd get plenty of time to sleep on the bus... Indeed I had plenty of time I could have used sleeping if the bus driver hadn't set his radio the whole 10 hours of the trip with Mexican "ranchera" music blaring at full volume on the bus speakers ¬_¬...

Apart from the radio, I guess there were no other inconveniences in my trip (that would be, excluding the fact that I got the last seat (and therefore, the jumpiest) on the bus, that the a/c was set to full, so I was freezing cold on the inside while there were some nice 25 degrees Celcius on the outside, that I barely got anything to eat, that I was quite uncomfortable, and that the guy ahead of me was snoring even louder than the music... But that's what it makes these trips so cool! ^_^;;;

We stopped to have some breakfast at some trucker's place. Even though I do think of this trip as a gastronomical trip, when I saw the mystery soups they were serving, I passed and had a banana and a bottled oatmeal drink instead...

There's not really too much to say, except that I'm staying at my mom's cousin's place, which is probably the wildest house I've ever been to! I had some great beans for lunch, and some exquisite potato empanadas for dinner. I'm now sitting on my bed, with the house cats taking a liking to my pc's keyboard, making this writeup. I'm supposed to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow morning to move onto my next stop.
